SOVIA EXPORTERS
Sovia Exporters was originally incorporated as a private limited company under the Companies Act, 1956 by Mr. Mukesh Khemuka, under the name ‘Sovia Exporters Private Limited’ on March 9, 1988, as issued by the Registrar of Companies, West Bengal. Initially, our focus was on exporting building materials such as marble, granite, and marble chips to neighboring Bangladesh. Observing the growing market demand, we diversified into agricultural produce and commodity exports in 1997. Since then, Sovia Exporters has been actively engaged in the export of agricultural products like rice, wheat, sugar, and spices. Over the years, we have expanded our market reach to Malaysia and Sri Lanka alongside Bangladesh.
Sovia Exporters has crafted a flexible business strategy, allowing us to shift between commodities depending on seasonal demand trends and price fluctuations. This approach ensures that the company remains resilient and minimizes the risk of lean business periods.
We proudly hold the recognition of a Two Star Export House awarded by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade. Additionally, we are registered with the Spices Board of India, APEDA, and the Federation of Indian Export Organizations.
To strengthen our international footprint, Sovia Exporters has acquired full ownership of U.E.L. International FZE, based in the United Arab Emirates, located at FDRK0757 Compass Building, Al Shohada Road, AL Hamra Industrial Zone-FZ, Ras Al Khaimah. U.E.L. International FZE is primarily involved in trading sugar, spices, and textiles.
Further expanding our global presence, Sovia Exporters established a wholly-owned subsidiary, Graincomm Australia Pty Ltd, on January 10, 2023. Located at Level 32, 367 Collins Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000, Australia, this subsidiary focuses on the trading of pulses and related products.
Sovia Exporters is led by Mr. Kandarp Soni, whose visionary leadership and over 20 years of experience in trading and retail have been the cornerstone of our success.
